Job Description :
Altair MotionSolve is a state-of-the-art multi-body dynamics solver. In just a few years, with a unique formulation and a passionate development team, MotionSolve has matured to a stage where it is successfully competing with industry leaders.

As we move towards making MotionSolve more accurate, robust, faster and usable than ever, we are looking for a highly motivated individual with a background in mechanics and mathematics for an Application Specialist position at our Bangalore office. Any experience or background in vehicle dynamics would be a strong plus.

An application specialist forms a key part of the software development cycle wherein he is responsible for providing constant technical feedback on the solver to the core development team. He has access to the formulation and key theoretical aspects of the solver. In conjunction with this knowledge, he is expected to use his engineering intelligence and judgment to understand, diagnose and report solver issues. He is also responsible for the overall health of the product by means of his contribution to training, documentation, QA, high-end technical support etc.

The MotionSolve team is driven by its vision of creating a strong product in the multi-body solver market. We try to create and maintain an informal atmosphere with a strong emphasis on working together towards the team vision.

Desired Profile :
Qualification requirements: Bachelor’s / Master’s in mechanical engineering or mathematics

Years of Experience: 2 to 3 years
Preferred skills: Vehicle dynamics
Desired skills: Independent contributor, fluent communicator
Experience: Any experience with HyperWorks products and MBD solvers like MotionSolve, ADAMS along with a vehicle dynamics background would be a strong plus
