Designation : Omnis Developer/Teamlead

Job Description :
Chennai, 2-10 years: The ideal candidate shall have 2 to 10 years experience with atleast 2 to 6 years in designing, developing and testing Omnis based client server and/or multi-tier applications over the Windows, Linux and/or Mac OS.

Desired Profile :
Omnis Technical Lead – Job Description

The ideal candidate shall have 8 to 10 years experience with atleast 3 to 4 years in designing, developing and testing Omnis based client server and/or multi-tier applications over the Windows, Linux and/or Mac OS.

Experience with Oracle (any version) and PL/SQL shall be necessary. Familiarity with other database versions like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase, DB2 shall be an added advantage. The candidate shall have familiarity with configuring Omnis to connect with databases using standard ODBC/JDBC connectors.

The candidate shall be familiar with rapid application development methodologies and shall have the necessary communication skills to interact with business users and product managers to understand, clarify, design and implement requirements in agile, iterative delivery models.

Understanding of object oriented programming models, web development, rich user interface development and usability engineering is desirable.

The selected candidate shall be required to participate in Product development, Sustenance and Support activity management with an ability to provide estimations, planning, technical problem resolution oversight and regular project management oversight to teams of size 10 to 12 team members.

Omnis Developer -

Job Description
The ideal candidate shall have 4 to 6 years experience with atleast 2 to 3 years in designing, developing and testing Omnis based client server and/or multi-tier applications over the Windows, Linux and/or Mac OS.

The candidate shall be familiar with rapid application development methodologies and shall have the ability to develop requirement, design, test and build documentation in both development and maintenance models.

Understanding of object oriented programming and web development models is desirable.

The selected candidate shall be required to participate in Product development, Sustenance and Support activities as the situation demands and shall perform development, testing, release and defect fixing activities.
