Job Description :
• Operating and further developing automated and manual build and release systems, managing source code repositories (VSS, TFS)
• Managing multiple concurrent projects, including performing repository branching used for parallel efforts, and managing the merge process as part of release migration
• Managing source code access, including access by remote groups
• Performing product builds, automating, enhancing, and maintaining existing software build process/infrastructure, and ensuring consistent build techniques across in-house multiple systems
• Creating and running basic command scripts and analyzes log files for errors
• Creating and maintaining multiple standard development and test environments
• Coordinating with IT groups on the release timing to ensure systems are ready for code to be deployed
• Validating success of release delivery using log files and other tools, and ensuring release is validated by development teams and client groups
• Analyzing, recommending corrective action and/or resolving release delivery failures
• Tracking configuration changes
• Improving build and deployment automation systems for all daily and regular releases
• Other tasks related to Release and Configuration Management, assigned by manager
