Title : Wireless intelligence
Client : Celtegrity
Team Size : 5
Environment : Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft .NET
Framework 2.5, ASP.NET 3.0, C#, MSSQL Server 2005
and SSIS
Synopsis
Celtegrity is a platform-based, ROI-focused, business intelligence provider of telecom financial assurance (revenue, cost and margin). The customers are telecom service providers including wireless and cable operators. Its solutions help the customers visualize, cleanse, correlate, reconcile and receive actionable intelligence to drive incremental revenue, control costs, improve margins, streamline business processes and monetize service offerings.
The growth of wireless in the enterprise has resulted in rapid deployments, sky rocketing cost, and limited user controls. Enterprise organizations manage thousands of users that have thousands of needs. With ever-increasing voice and data usage, high speed wireless networks, handheld mobile computing, and a dependency on wireless technology; the need to bring strategy and discipline to the management of wireless in the enterprise, has never been greater.
Enterprise organizations have diverse wireless requirements, making impossible any single ubiquitous solution for the management of thousands of wireless users. The result is a defensive, sometimes chaotic approach to managing and controlling wireless. And despite years of experience, enterprise organizations remain vulnerable to wireless cost, abuse, and security issues.
Celtegrity would provide solutions for all the above and escalate periodical notifications for the employees of enterprises regarding performance and violations if they made any.
Responsibilities:
My primary scope is developing Quality Assurance test strategies to maximize coverage for new and existing products prior to their release into a production environment, always striving to meet customer requirements and expectations! Strategies are solidified through the analysis of formal and informal requirements, detailed test scripts, test execution and test matrices to document product coverage.
To identify and resolve Quality Assurance processes and coverage that are not meeting customer expectations; securing product coverage by communicating with customer representatives and defining the unwritten product requirements.
Preparing test cases on both functionality and data.
Execution of test cases and checking the screens for Quality Assurance.
Performing Functionality Testing, Usability Testing and Regression testing.
Tracking the defects in a defect-tracking tool.
