End to end Infrastructure support for customer supporting 3800+ Servers across globe(NA,APAC, LatAM & Europe), This is a multi flavor environment which includes Linux, AIX, Solaris, HP Unix, Tru64, FreeBSD, Websphere, AS400 & Datastage administration. Candidate can scale up to L3 level. Apart from Unix, we have Storage team, Windows, Citrix, VMWare & Database teams where you have opportunity for cross trainings. Candidate will be involved in Service Improvement plan based on six sigma, will be involved in Capacity Management. We have Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management based on ITIL framework.

Group and User Account create and manipulation
Render assistance to Customer Support, Web Technologies Group, Database Administration, Communications and Network support and Application Development and Maintenance staff members on complex problems.

Desired Profile :

Ability to install configure and maintain IBM AIX, and Linux server Operating Systems
Excellent inter-personal and communications skills, making presentations to an internal audience, interacting positively with upper management
Ability to train users in applications and UNIX fundamentals and writing basic documentation
Ability to troubleshoot common system problems, using all available resources, (vendor support, online documentation), to completion
Possess a working knowledge and skill with most aspects of UNIX systems administration; for example, system installation and configuration, fundamentals of security, installing third party software
Possess a solid knowledge of a UNIX-based operating system; for example, understands paging and swapping, inter-process communication, devices and what device drivers do, file system concepts (“inode”, “superblock”, etc.)

Candidates should have hands on experience with :
Good demonstration skill and troubleshooting experience on Solaris
Experience on Veritas Volume Manager and Cluster Environment.
Good Understanding of system virtualization.
Experience on SendMail and DNS, NIS and FTP Server Administration and Troubleshooting.
Significant experience with PERL and shell scripting
Experience in managing Business Critical Applications and Database Servers.
Experience on System Performance Analysis and Tuning.
Knowledge on InfoBlox, IronPort and Majordomo.
