Desired Candidate Profile :
• Excellent understanding of the technical fundamentals of the Internet. You should have a knowledge of internet protocols such as SSH, FTP, SFTP & HTTP, as well as the ability to use diagnostic tools such as traceroute, ping, logmein, and dig.
• Ability to identify whether it is a software or hardware issue.
• Good Windows versions, IE versions, .NET framework troubleshooting ability.
• The ability to be a good listener, and to really understand a customer problem or question and help them solve it.
• Ability to quickly grasp and learn the Ashva’s software product suite.
• Excellent writing skills. Most of your work will be written (email, documentation, etc.).
• Excellent telephone mannerisms. Some support will be provided over the phone (via our VoIP system)
• 2-3 years previous experience in a technical support role

Job Description :
• Helping customers solve technical issues/product issues online and onsite.
• Helping Sales to do presales demo, setting up systems for customers
• Answering questions from customers and prospective customers about the features and capabilities of our products.
• Communicating customer needs and wishes to our development staff.
• Flexible in taking up additional roles/responsibilities on the support side, as Ashvatech is a start-up and growing company.
